Schools and colleges have suffered the most due to the corona epidemic. During this time, children have been deprived of education. Although online classes were operational on time, Online Classes Do Not Show The Meaning Of Education that they really should have. The government is also very concerned about this issue. Therefore, new schemes are being implemented to meet the school’s needs. There is also a Vidyanjali Yojana among them. This scheme was started to increase the engagement of people with the school. So far, many lower educational institutions have been included in this scheme.
Vidyanjali Yojana in higher educational institutions
Now plans are being made to implement Vidyanjali Yojana in higher educational institutions. Under this scheme of the Ministry of Education, service-created or serving professors, professional and Ph.D. or post-graduate degree holders will be able to teach voluntarily in nearby higher educational institutions. Along with this, skill experts will also get a chance to share their skills.
Candidates teaching voluntarily in higher educational institutions will have to register first. In that, they will also have to tell in which subject they are interested, due to which the students will be able to learn with interest. The institute will invite the registered candidates as per need. The infrastructure and teaching requirements of the institutions will also be displayed on the website of Vidyanjali Yojana. It will facilitate the volunteers to understand their subject.
Accordingly, that person will be able to help the higher education institutions. The Ministry of Education has some objectives behind this scheme. First, the needs of higher educational institutions will be met, and second, people will get an opportunity to connect with the institutions. After the Corona epidemic, there has been a shortage of teachers in higher educational institutions. Especially there is an acute shortage of specialist and skilled teachers.
Schools in this Yojana
The government believes that the shortage of teachers and specialists in higher educational institutions will be overcome under this scheme. It will benefit the country as well as the students. Presently more than 4 crore students are studying in higher educational institutions of the country. So far, more than 1 lakh schools have been connected with Vidyanjali Yojana. Most of the schools are located in remote rural areas. So there is also a lack of infrastructure. More than 13 thousand people have registered to teach in such schools. Services are being taken from a large number of people from them. According to the report, more than 15,000 schools had sought facilities to conduct digital and online classes. More than 11 thousand Students Have Been Provided With The Facility with digital reading lessons.
