From 1st April, the Combined Taj Mahal entry ticket will be Rs. 200. However, with this ticket the tourists will be able to see both the monument and the main mausoleum. Apart from this, the fees for seeing other monuments preserved under the ASI have also been increased from Rs.40 to Rs.50.

According to the officials concerned, on Sunday, Union Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma has given permission to the officials and said that a time code for tracking the time limit of tourists will make it easier to find that the tourists. The tourist cannot spend more than 3 hours in the monument. They also told that no children under the age of 15 years will be eligible for tickets for admission. It is a matter of grave importance that for the second time in the last two years, the entry fee for Taj Mahal has increased. Earlier in 2016 Taj Mahal ticket price was increased.
The time limit has also been reduced
Not only this, officials also said that the deadline for tourists has been implemented .Talking to TOI , Superintendent of ASI (Agra Circle) Archaeologist, Bhuvan Vikram Singh said that the time limit for the ticket has now been determined. Now this time limit will be only 3 hours and if you stay more than three hours then you will have to pay for the second ticket in the form of a fine. Fine money is required to be deposited at the tourist at the exit gate. According to officials, the motive behind the move is not to earn money, but to ensure the security of historical buildings and for better public management.
Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the world, it is the pride of our nation. It’s maintenance and administration should be handled responsibly and it’s also our duty to ensure that.
