Kendriya Vidyalaya is a school in India run by the Central Government. This was the beginning under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Its headquarter is in New Delhi.
It was established on 15 December 1963 by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development.
Before, that time its name was Kendriya schools. Later its name was change to Kendriya Vidyalaya. Also, all its schools affiliated with CBSE.
