Aadhar breach, do we really need to worry?
Can anyone with your aadhar id see which bank account it was linked to?
In December ,the UIDAI tweeted a number to check the bank account with which the aadhar is linked via SMS.
Here is how to do it to any aadhar number:
First dail *99*99*1# from your mobile
You will be asked to enter the aadhar number
Then there is option to confirm or change it.
Then it will show the bank it is linked to.

The backlag is that it doesn’t sent any OTP to the aadhar holder nor it notifies that any one has checked the details of the aadhar card holder.
Recently a journalist named Rachna Khaira, tried to show how you can get an unrestricted access to the personal details of people who have an Aadhaar card by simply paying ₹500.
