Swedish DJ Tim Bergling, known as Avicii , died on Friday. He was only 28 years old and in a short life he achieved a major position in the world of music. The music industry was stunned when his representative Diana Barron gave this information. Tim was one of the world’s most successful DJs.

What is Avicii’s Cause of Death ?

Avicii was battling major health issues for several years prior to his death. He had acute pancreatitis, this was due to his excessive drinking. In the year 2014, he cancelled several shows in order to recover from his removal of gallbladder and appendix.

On March 2016, he decided to retire from his live performances. He wrote an emotional letter to his fans.

He was found dead in Oman, Muscat on Friday afternoon. His family is in shock. We request that all respect their privacy. ‘ However, the information of the cause of death has not been given in the statement.

Born in Sweden, Tim received two MTV Music Awards and two Billboard Music Awards and two Grammy nominations. Two days earlier, his album was nominated for the Billboard Music Award. He was nominated for Grammy songs with his 2011 song ‘Levels’. His songs ‘Wake me up’, ‘Hey Brother’ were huge hits and made him a global sensation.

It is reported that Tim used to drink plenty of alcohol and had suffered health problems in 2014. After this, he did more work than the studio instead of the tour.
