Singh is Bling film has opened very well and has a chance to be Akshay Kumar’s highest ever opener and also likely second highest opening of 2015.

North India is bumper with openings at the level of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Punjab and Delhi City leads with 60% opening .
However Singh is Bling movie has lower screens than Bajrangi Bhaijaan due to competition from Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon and Talvar
Rajasthan, Bihar and MP is at 50% opening levels
Rest of the circuits are at 30-35% opening levels
Mumbai circuit which is the largest circuit for Hindi movies has taken a slow start and can play spoilsport and deny Akshay Kumar a 20 crore opening.
Overall Opening is at 45% which is second best of 2015 after Bajrangi Bhaijaan in morning shows.
Usually Delhi which is the second biggest circuit is around 70% of Mumbai but today it looks that they may be in 80-90% range.
Oct 2 is a national Holiday and is one of the biggest days for movies Hrithik’s Bang Bang and Ranbir Kapoor’s Besharam in last two years have taken huge opening on this day.

Trade Expectations:
Trade as usual has very high expectations for the opening weekend from this movie as it combines another national holiday with Akshay Kumar’s star power. This also has Akshay combining with his Rowdy Rathore director Prabhueva who himself has a good following in mass circuits.
Day 1: 18-20 Crore
Day 2: 12-14 Crore
Day 3: 15-17 Crore
Weekend: 45-50 Crore
Anything below this would be considered disappointing by trade.
Budget: 92 Crores
Production Cost 75 Crores and Prints and Advertising Costs 17 crore.
Music, Satellite and Overseas has given a recovery of 51 Crores to the producers.
To recover the remaining cost movie must do a business of approx 82 -88 Crore which should give it the distributor share of 41 crores and comfortably make it profitable .
Distributor share depends on single screens vs multiplex distribution and also whether collections are coming in first week or second week.
At 92 Crores it will be considered a Hit
