Technology is a network that is created by the connection of skills, material, or equipment and more efforts. Today we tell you about the role of technology in teaching.
Technology In Teaching
The use of technology is changing with time. Pre-historic man used their own technology to produce fire and then gradually human development started with technology. In 1937, the American sociologist Read Bain wrote that “technology includes all tools, machines, utensils, weapons, instruments, housing, clothing, communicating and transporting devices and the skills by which we produce and use them.”
Recently a small virus( which we cannot even see with our naked eyes) coronavirus, had stopped the world in just one day. There was no work, no schools, no income, no transport. But it was technology that is still persisting. Now everything is available online through technology. Technology will be the future of any country.
The most important thing is that teaching is possible in-home, through technology. This technology provides teachers and students to communicate with themselves very easily. It provides different tools to make a classroom. In schools, teachers are available only during the school periods but now through technology students can ask their questions anytime (24*7) and get their solutions. It makes projects easier for students because they can research through different websites and increase their thinking power. It helps teachers to gain and improve their knowledge. They can also research through social media sites. Teachers also contact with parents of students and give them instructions for their children. They also concentrate on those students who need special attention. These all are easier because of technology. George Coures says “ Technology will not replace great teachers but technology in the hands of great teachers can be transformable.”
The development of technology is increasing day by day. Scientists work daily to improve this technology. One day the day will come when there is nothing that is impossible with technology.
