Oxygen OS has come to the fore in recent months as an alternative OS for the OnePlus smartphones.
The OS is a fork of the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS for the OnePlus One phone. The OS came about after a split between OnePlus and Cyanogen. Previously, Cyanogen provided the operating system for the OnePlus One phone.
Its first OTA was only a week ago, but they’re already back with OxygenOS 2.0.2!
The incremental roll-out of second OnePlus 2 OTA will begin Today..
In OxygenOS 2.0.2, you’ll find the following:
• Improvements to fingerprint recognition accuracy
• Resolves a bug that could cause volume to be muted unexpectedly
• Stability improvements to the front facing camera
• Camera preview UX improvements
A 2.1 update with more significant improvements is on its way and currently scheduled for mid-September.
