Not Having Breakfast Can Be Dangerous For Health

For good health, it should need to be a properly balanced diet. A balanced diet with the right time is also very important. In a busy life, most people forget the right time to eat food. They skip breakfast, sometimes lunch, and even dinner. Mostly it has been seen that people forget to have breakfast in a hurry to go to the office. They do not know how big a mistake they are doing? Not having breakfast give a bad impact on our health. If someone skips, then he misses out on essential nutrition.


How can not having breakfast be dangerous for health?

According to Proceedings of the Nutrition Society, adults who skip breakfast miss out on key nutrients, that are most abundant in the morning meal.

Researchers from Ohio State University conducted a clinical survey on more than three thousand American adults. According to lead author and Professor Christopher Taylor in The Ohio State University College of Medicine, we found in our study that that food which we take in our breakfast, we do not tend to eat those in rest of the day.

For this study, Taylor and his team members used the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey data. This data includes the data of 30,889 adults who were surveyed between 2005 to 2016. Researchers analyzed the diet of 24 hours of those adults.

According to researchers, almost 4,924 adults left their breakfast. Such people were found to be deficient in nutrients, such as vitamins, minerals, etc., as compared to other people.


Breakfast and health have direct relation. It’s cleared that not having breakfast gives a bad impact. Besides this, it causes many diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and increase fat also. There is a myth among people that breakfast is the lightest one, while it should be the heaviest and most nutritious of the day. It should contain calories, fiber, calcium, vitamins, and all kinds of nutritious elements. It should be taken before 9 o’clock in the morning or within a maximum of two hours of waking up.
