Mana Patel: India’s First Female Swimmer

Mana Patel is an Indian swimmer who hails from the city of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She was born on 18 March 2000. At the age of 21, she has won many medals. As of August 2016, mana has won 11 international, 61 national, and 75 state-level medals.

Mana has been swimming since the age of seven. His mother had made him swim to gain weight. And today she represents India in swimming. When she was 15 years old, she once said, ‘ I am targeting a spot in the Rio Olympics. This has been my dream ever since I started swimming.’ And now Mana Patel has got a ticket to go to the Tokyo Olympics. And thus, she became the first female swimmer to go to the Olympics.

Mana Patel told Olympics com. that- It’s a wonderful feeling. I have heard about the Olympics from my peers and seen it on TV. This is the first time I am going to participate in this. This time I will compete with the best contestants from the world there. I’m so excited about this. With this Mana said, this is just the beginning of the journey. I still have a long way to go. She has his eyes on the next Paris Olympic 2024.
