MS Dhoni in IPL 2018 for batting-
Chennai Super Kings Chief coach Stephen Fleming, who is returning to the tournament for two years, has said that captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni will play a bigger role as the batsman by batting in the upper order in the upcoming IPL 2018.
Asked about Mahendra Singh’s possible batting order, Fleming said, “Dhoni will play in the upper order. This match will also depend on the situation. Definitely he will play a bigger role in the form of a batsman”.
He said, “We have some good players, Kedar Jadhav, Ambati Rayudu. Jadeja, Bravo, Harbhajan also fit in the plan, Karn Sharma, they can bat all. If you look at our team then there are many types of skill players. There are plenty of options available. ‘
At the same time, he said that the team will not take any other player than Kevin Pietersen, Mitchell Santner as he has been included in the team under the next three-year plan.
