Holi 2018: President and Prime Minister shared their Holi wishes

Today is Holi, the festival of colours. From the morning, children from their homes throw colors and water on each other. The joy and excitement of the children are visible everywhere on this day.  In balconies and street people are giving each other a message of Happy Holi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted the people with best wishes of Holi. He wrote in his tweets, many good wishes to all the people for the festival of Holi.

President Ramnath Kovind and Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan congratulated the countrymen on Holi. They desired for friendship and harmony in the country. In his message, the President said, “On the auspicious occasion of Holi, my greetings to all the citizens.” He said, “On this occasion, I wish that the spirit of friendship and cordiality in all the countries should be strengthened.

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said in his message, “I congratulate all my brothers and sisters on the festive occasion of Holi. Holi’s vibrant festival fills everyone with the message of social harmony, unity and mutual brotherhood.

In Delhi, the police have made extensive arrangements to prevent any unwanted incident during Holi. Police have deployed personnel to maintain law and order.
