“ GPD Pocket ”, the world’s smallest laptop is here..!!
Yes you heard it right. It is called GPD Pocket. It is very small and super light and can be kept like a mobile phone in your pocket.

The company GPD is generally known for making Android powered handheld gaming console. Few months earlier they introduced a 5.5 inch handheld gaming device running on Windows 10, called GPD win.
Now GPD is ready to launch a 7 inch touchscreen laptop which can easily fit in your pocket. They named it “GPD Pocket”. This pocket laptop will come in two variants, one with Windows 10 support and the later with Ubuntu 16.04 Linux.

The specifications of GPD pocket are:
- 7 inches IPS touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass 3
- Intel Atom x7-Z8700 Cherry Trail processor
- 4GB of RAM
- 128GB of storage

It will also have USB type C port, full sized USB port, HDMI port and Headphone jack. GPD laptop will not have any touchpad but will have pointing nub which will act as a mouse just like in Lenovo’s ThinkPad. It will also include a QWERTY keyboard .

Through the HDMI HD cable, it can connect to any display screen. Also the new Type C interface can be infinitely expanded with peripheral devices. It is the world’s first pocket laptop with 7-inch screen to support 64-bit Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
You can access mobile network anytime and anywhere through an external 4G network interface card with a USB port. Even if you forget to bring a mobile phone, you can communicate with any corner of the world through the Skype Internet phone.
