ये क्या अभी तक केवल शराब पर बैन थी लेकिन अब गुटखा-पान मसाला पर भी बिहार सरकार ने लगाया बैन। नीतीश सरकार ने खाद्य संरक्षा एवं मानक अधिनियम 2006 की धारा 30 के तहत पूरे बिहार राज्य में गुटखा एवं पान मसाला पर प्रतिबन्ध लगाने की घोषणा की है ।
इसके अनुसार कोई भी इसका विनिर्माण, विक्रय, परिवहन नहीं कर सकता है । यह प्रतिबंध पूरे बिहार राज्य में 21 मई 2016 से प्रारम्भ हो जाएगा । यह कदम जनहित के स्वास्थ्य को ध्यान में रखते हुए उठाया गया है । अगर कोई भी व्यक्ति ऐसा करते हुए पकड़ा गया तो उस पर सख्त कार्यवाही की जाएगी ।
