A New Method To Find The New Planet

Our universe is full of many mysteries. Do not know how many planets, asteroid, and bodies are filled in this universe. Apart from our solar system, more than 4000 planets have been confirmed. also, apart from this, possible planets are being discovered around 7600. This number is very small for this infinite universe. What is the effect of different planets on the stars present in this universe? The existence of the new planet can be ascertained only by studying this effect.

Two methods to find new plantes

Astronomers use two methods to detect the presence of outer planets. The first is the transit method. Through this method, we see the change in the light of the stars, and what is the effect of the outer planets on the stars.  The second method is the wobble method. In this method, the change in the wavelength of light of stars is observed. But a researcher from the University of Hawaii has come out with a new method to image a new planet. With this unique method, he has got an image that is 35 light-years away. According to experts, this is the closest among all the planets that were photographed so far. Coconuts-2B  is the name of that new planet.

What is special on the new planet?

Apart from the above two methods, it will be interesting to know how the image of this new planet was taken. Light is generated from the heat leftover from the time of the formation of this planet. With the help of this light, the researchers were able to take an image of this planet. The energy output of this planet is one million times less than the energy of the sun. Therefore it can be detected only by low-energy infrared light. Coconuts -2B was first discovered by the Wide Field Infrared Survey Explorer satellite in 2011.  At that time it was thought to be a freely moving planet. And then now, researchers have discovered that this planet is actually associated with a star. Also, its mass is one-third of that of the Sun. Its age is only 80 million years.

With this new method, more planets outside the solar system can be detected.
